DELPHIC LANDSCAPE
Traditional cultivation methods used in the Olive Grove/Eleonas of Amfissa.
In the “Delphic Landscape”, the olive trees have come from grafting wild olives and belong to the well-known variety “Amfissi”. Most of these trees are centuries old, which makes them protected.
The “Delphic landscape” is considered inextricably linked, both aesthetically and archaeologically, with the archaeological site of Delphi. For this reason it has been declared a protected area since 1981 by UNESCO.
